Mount Vernon Part 1

In 1754 George Washington acquired Mount Vernon and continued to live there for the next 45 years. The mansion was expanded by Washington several times and currently is detailed to look as it did in 1799. Because many of the furnishings belonged to the Washington's, we were not allowed to take pictures inside the mansion.
